NHS Lothian runs an annual programme of dental inspections of children in Primary 1 and Primary 7. The inspections are carried out by an NHS Dentist or Dental therapist and a dental Nurse. The Inspection information is used to advise you of your child’s dental health and to plan NHS Dental services in The Lothians and throughout Scotland. If you do not wish your child to be included in the programme please advise the school in writing no later than Monday 22nd January.
