By now we should have been set up in our new school and looking forward to welcoming you all through the doors of our beautiful new St Mary’s on 20th April. Of course we now know this is not going to happen, and we have experienced an extraordinary couple of weeks of school closure so far.
I hope that you are all well and managing the daily juggle of life at home which now includes some home-schooling! You’ll be relieved to know there will be no expectations for distance learning over the Easter Holiday period. I hope that you do get the chance to relax a little and draw breath a bit as we all become accustomed to a new way of living for a while.
Today is Palm Sunday and I have seen many pictures of the door decorations to mark the beginning of our very Holy Week. Remember the words of our “Hosanna, Hosanna, sing praises come praise him – Hosanna Hosanna lift up your voices and sing”. I have been tweeting some links for celebrating Mass in the virtual world with His Grace Leo Archbishop Cushley, plus some useful tools for reflections with the family from TEN TEN.

It will be a very unusual Easter this year but I will keep all of you in my prayers. Keep safe. Stay at home. Happy Easter!
