ASN – Sensory Impairment – information for parents

Understanding Additional Support for Learning: an Event for Parents with children who have Sensory Impairments: Know Your Rights

This course will be of interest to  Parents and/or carers of children and young people with visual impairment or deafness living in Scotland.

Understanding your child’s rights to additional support can be helpful when talking to their school about their needs. Cat Thomson from Enquire will be joining us to provide information about children’s rights to additional support for learning and advice on working in partnership with your child’s school to get the right support in place.

During this session participants will split into 2 groups to discuss either deaf issues or visual impairment issues.
